Project Introduction
Mini Rhae Play reached out with a clear objective: create a versatile suite of photo and video content to support the launch of their indoor and outdoor kids’ jumping castles. When I saw the products for the first time, the quality craftsmanship, clever design, and vibrant aesthetic stood out immediately. These weren’t just ordinary inflatables—they were durable, portable, parent- and kid-friendly, and most importantly, fun.
Our mutual understanding was that speed-to-market was crucial. We needed to capture the essence of the product—its safety, portability, colour, and uniqueness—in a way that would resonate with modern families and communicate the product’s benefits instantly.

The creative brief
The brief was comprehensive. It required:
- Over 500 high-resolution stillsA 60-second promotional video
- Clean, e-commerce-ready product shots
- Candid lifestyle imagery
- Tailored visuals for social media, web, and promotional use
The content was aimed at modern parents, so everything from the composition to the lighting needed to feel both aspirational and relatable.
We focused on capturing the jumping castles’ compact design, ease of installation, and joyful playability.

Studio Shoot Execution
With four products and both adult and child talent, planning was everything. We shot at a professional Sydney studio with a white cyclorama backdrop—perfect for clean visuals, consistent lighting, and a distraction-free space that made the products (and kids) shine.
Our setup included two cameras (wide and 550mm lenses), continuous softbox lighting, and a gimbal for smooth, dynamic video. The full-day shoot ran from 9 AM to 5 PM, covering hero shots, close-ups, lifestyle scenes, and playful action sequences.

Working with Kids on Set
Filming children always brings unique challenges—but also genuine magic. With patience, creativity, and a playful approach, we built a fun, relaxed environment that let the kids be themselves.
The result? Natural smiles, authentic reactions, and content full of energy and warmth.

Post-Production Process
Post-production is where everything came together. We processed over 2,000 photos and 16GB of video footage, following a detailed, structured workflow:
- Sorting: Organised all raw files by product and content type.
- Editing: Colour-corrected, cropped, and refined images for consistency and clarity.
- Video Production: Edited footage per storyboard, adding music, transitions, and branding to create a 60-second promo reel.
- Client Collaboration: Shared previews for feedback to ensure the final results matched Mini Rhae Play’s vision.
Every stage was backed up and the final content neatly packaged for easy use across web and marketing channels.

Final Outcome
On delivery, the client received:
- Over 500 professionally edited stills
- One fully-edited, high-definition promotional video
- Optimised content packages for web, e-commerce, and social media
Seeing the final images and video integrated into their online store, social media campaigns, and promotional materials was incredibly rewarding.
The content didn’t just showcase the product—it helped define the Mini Rhae Play brand as a trustworthy, fun, and forward-thinking player in the market.
